Course History
Waterchase Golf Club opened in 2000 in Fort Worth, Texas, designed by local architect Steve Plummer. Plummer, based in the Fort Worth area, has created other public courses including Hidden Creek Golf Club in nearby Burleson and Chesley Oaks Golf Course in Alabama, as well as improvements to Wright Park Golf Course in Greenville, Texas. The par-72 layout stretches over 7,150 yards from the back tees and features five par threes, five par fives, tree-lined doglegs, split fairways, and water hazards, including a cascading waterfall between the ninth and eighteenth greens. Previously known as The Links at Waterchase, it rebranded to its current name in 2007. The course operates as a premium public facility, accommodating all skill levels with six sets of tees, and regularly hosts local tournaments, corporate outings, and charity events such as the DFW Two Man Challenge and TCU scrambles, but no major professional championships or USGA events are documented.
