Our Review

An 18-hole course that replicates individual holes from some of the greatest courses in the world. Features a replica of Amen Corner from Augusta National. A unique bucket-list experience and one of the most distinctive courses in DFW.

Course History

Tour 18 Dallas opened in 1995 in Flower Mound, Texas, as the second replica golf course in the Tour 18 concept, following the original in Houston. Designed by Dave Edsall, who specializes in replica courses and also created the Houston edition along with projects like Renditions, the layout features meticulously reproduced holes from iconic American venues such as Augusta National's Amen Corner, TPC Sawgrass's island green, Pine Valley, and Riviera. The course quickly drew attention, facing early legal challenges from some replicated venues like Harbour Town, Pinehurst No. 2, and Pebble Beach, leading to modifications such as removing a lighthouse replica behind the 18th hole. It serves as the centerpiece of the upscale, gated Estates at Tour 18 community. Ownership has changed hands multiple times: acquired by Olympus Real Estate in 1999 and managed by Arnold Palmer Golf Management, sold to investor Dennis Lee in 2004 who replaced the management, followed by lean years before rebounding under subsequent owners. The course underwent a greens renovation around 2020 and ongoing bunker renovations were reported in 2025. No major professional tournaments are documented.
