The Creek Course
The flagship. Interesting but fair layout. The Creek clubhouse is the top of the food chain and almost always bustling with activity.

The Clubs of Prestonwood in Plano, Texas, comprises two courses: The Creek Course in North Dallas, designed by Ralph Plummer and opened in 1968, and The Hills Course in Plano, designed by Dave Bennett and opened in 1986. Plummer, a Fort Worth-based architect known for over 80 courses including Preston Trail Golf Club, created the original tight, water-laden layout at Prestonwood. Bennett, an ASGCA member since 1979 who designed over 100 courses worldwide, crafted the more forgiving links-style Hills Course with rolling terrain, wide fairways, and undulating greens. The Creek received a renovation in 1986 coinciding with The Hills' opening. The club, originally under Prestonwood Country Club ownership by Henry S. Miller Companies for 36 years, was acquired by ClubCorp (now Invited) in 2014, which rebranded it as The Clubs of Prestonwood and invested in multimillion-dollar upgrades to dining, amenities, and both courses. No specific post-opening renovation architects for either course are publicly documented beyond general improvements. The clubs host tournaments, outings, and rank among DFW's top private facilities, with The Creek as the flagship featuring a premier clubhouse.

A fun, playable course that will suit almost any skill level. Great starter-side course for members just getting into the game.
