Course History
Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club in Keller, Texas, is an 18-hole public course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., who founded Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects after working in his father Robert Trent Jones, Sr.'s firm, the prolific designer of over 500 courses worldwide including Shady Oaks Country Club in nearby Fort Worth. Known for environmentally sensitive designs that honor natural terrain, Jones, Jr. opened Sky Creek Ranch in 1999 with design contributions from Donald Knott and Gary Linn. Carved from the highest point in Tarrant County, the par-72 layout features Bermuda fairways, bentgrass greens, oak corridors, white sand bunkers, and Big Bear Creek impacting 16 holes.
