Course History
Rolling Hills Country Club in Arlington, Texas, opened in 1954 as the city's oldest private club, featuring an 18-hole golf course designed by C.M. Mimms measuring 6,333 yards from the back tees, along with tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse. Local architect John Colligan of Colligan Golf Design renovated the layout in 2013, adding length and re-routing holes while preserving its traditional 1950s-style character. The club hosted the Texas Women's Open for multiple years and served as a venue for community events.
Membership declined in later years, leading to closure on July 31, 2022. The 96.5-acre site at Lamar Blvd and Cooper St was sold to Provident Realty Advisors for mixed-use development including over 200 single-family homes and commercial space.
