Course History

Riverchase Golf Club in Coppell, Texas, opened in 1989 as one of Jim Fazio's first solo design projects. Jim Fazio, nephew of renowned architect George Fazio, established his own design firm in 1984 after gaining experience in the family business. His portfolio includes courses such as Barnsley Gardens in Georgia, Currahee Club in Georgia, and Trump National Golf Club Westchester in New York, with work in the U.S., Caribbean, Italy, and Japan. The par-71 layout stretches to 6,593 yards from the back tees, featuring water in play on 14 holes along the Elm Fork Trinity River bottomlands and Champion Bermuda greens.[GolfPass](https://www.golfpass.com/travel-advisor/courses/14579-riverchase-golf-club)[TeeOff](https://www.teeoff.com/courses/1037255-riverchase-golf-club-details) The course has no documented major renovations or previous names. It has been managed by Encore Leisure Group since 2014 and was sold in August 2025 to MYS Riverchase, LLC, with Yuki Sasada listed as manager; Sasada also owns Willows Run Golf Complex in Washington.[Coppell Chronicle](https://coppellchronicle.substack.com/p/coppell-chronicle-vol-5-no-29) No notable tournaments or famous members are publicly documented.
