Our Review
Course History
The Plantation Golf Club in Frisco, Texas, opened in 1988 as the city's longest-running public golf course. Designed by local architect Richard Ellis, who has limited documented work primarily associated with this 6,402-yard par-72 layout blending into the rolling hills, it features wide Bermuda fairways, mature trees, water on nine holes, and 20 bunkers. The course served as the centerpiece of the Plantation Resort Community, open to daily fee play with an expansive practice facility. In summer 2003, it underwent extensive renovations to the greens, bunkers, and clubhouse, including reversing the front and back nines to their original configuration for better pace of play. Recently renamed The Club at Frisco Farms under Arcis Golf management, it continues to offer public play and community events.
