Course History
Oak Hollow Golf Course opened in 1998 on the site of the former 9-hole McKinney Municipal Golf Course, which had operated for 50 years before closing to make way for the new layout. The par-70 championship design by Maury Miller incorporates rolling terrain around six manmade lakes and plays friendly from the middle tees at just over 6,000 yards. Miller, whose other known designs include Lawton Country Club in Oklahoma, created a course accessible to a range of skill levels while offering challenges on longer holes. As part of the City of McKinney's parks system, it serves as an affordable public facility just outside downtown.
