Our Review
Course History
Hidden Creek Golf Course opened in 1997 as a public municipal facility owned and operated by the City of Burleson, Texas. The original architect was Steve Plummer, who designed other courses including Chesley Oaks Golf Course in Alabama and Tannehill National Golf Course. Little is publicly documented about Plummer's background or additional notable DFW-area work. The clubhouse was designed by Magee Architects to include a pro shop, dining area seating 86, and outdoor patio with course views. In 2012, Colligan Golf Design led a redesign and partial rerouting, adding new features while keeping the course playable. No previous names or ownership changes were identified. The course hosts local charity and corporate outings, such as the annual Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic and Rotary tournaments, but no major professional or USGA events.
