Course History
The Benbrook Lighted Par 3 & Range opened its facility in 1977 as a family-owned public venue featuring a driving range, miniature golf, and batting cages near Benbrook Lake in Benbrook, Texas. Frank Reynolds built and developed the 9-hole lighted par-3 course in 1992, which opened in 1993. Reynolds operated the facility with his wife Penny until his passing in 2004. The site has remained under family ownership, now led by Debbie Reynolds and Terri Janak, who are raising the fourth generation of golfers on the property. No professional architect is credited with the design. The course sponsors First Tee Fort Worth and hosts weekly par-3 scrambles, but no major professional tournaments are documented. Current owners are restoring it to its original beauty following recent renovations.
